28/03/2008 15:54 - (SA)
Hong Kong - The Sevens Boks started well by beating Japan 40-7 in their Pool B match on the first day of the IRB Sevens World Series on Friday.
Prior to the match Bok Sevens skipper Neil Powell told Supersport that if they were to triumph at the Hong Kong Sevens, they were
going to have to get past unbeaten New Zealand first.
Powell said, however, that they were not even thinking about the mighty All Blacks.
The New Zealanders have been in phenomenal form, winning all four tournaments this season, and head the points table with a whopping 80 points. South Africa are second with 48 points.
