Hawies: Falcons are spectacular

Bloemfontein - The Falcons won't depart from their brand of spectacular rugby when they play the Cheetahs in a Currie Cup match here on Friday evening.
That, at least, is what assistant Cheetahs coach Hawies Fourie predicts.
"I know their coach (Rudy Joubert) and that's the way he believes rugby should be played," Fourie said here on Wednesday.
The Falcons have concentrated on playing running rugby this season and produced some delightful attacks when they beat Western Province at Brakpan last Friday night.
The Cheetahs, in beating the Sharks the next day, played conservatively in the first half and then switched to their usual brand of action rugby.
Fourie feels the Cheetahs will have to retain maximum discipline on defence when they take on the adventurous Falcons.
"Their skills and handling are outstanding. They were a little unlucky against the Lions and the Sharks but they beat WP. They are really playing well," he said.
The Cheetahs, striving to win the Currie Cup for the third consecutive year, regained some of the traditional flair among their backs when they beat the Sharks.
Flyhalf Chris Rossouw is expected to be given free reign again on Friday night to spin the ball during the second half. This should enable replacements Fabian Juries and Wilton Pietersen to show off their attacking talents.
"We really needed the win over the Sharks," Fourie said. "We beat Griquas and the Lions but we did not really play good rugby against them.
"Against the Sharks, things worked well in the second half. Scoring tries is good for the confidence."
The Falcons have had to replace wing Johan Swart, who has been suspended for one match for a spear tackle on a WP player.
Nicky Kritzinger, who was at fullback last week, moves to the wing and Riaan Smit takes over at fullback.
Joubert has also made a change to his front row, bringing in Gavin Whittingham for Frik Venter.
