Beast on the bench

Johannesburg - Sharks coach John Plumtree has included three of his four returning Springboks in the starting XV for Saturday's Absa Currie Cup match against the Lions in Durban, while Beast Mtwarira will be on the bench with World Cup Bok Jannie du Plessis preferred at tighthead.
Ruaan Pienaar has been selected as scrumhalf, but will play at flyhalf if Frederick Michalak's bruised hip keeps him on the sideline. Should Pienaar have to move to flyhalf, Scott Mathie will return as scrumhalf and Charl McLeod will move onto the bench.
Jean Deysel has also recovered from injury to give the loose trio a new look as he packs down with Springbok Ryan Kankowski and Jacques Botes.
Brad Barritt returns at inside centre in place of Andries Strauss, while Bok wing Odwa Ndungane comes in for Henno Mentz.
