Ronnie better than Becks

Madrid - Barcelona's Brazilian star Ronaldinho is "much better" than Real Madrid capture David Beckham, according to Denilson, Real Betis' Brazilian winger.
Denilson, a World Cup winner last summer, believes Barca had managed to pull off by far the better deal in landing Ronaldinho from Paris Saint Germain than sign original target Beckham.
"Ronaldinho is much better than Beckham. Nobody can doubt that when it comes to striking the ball Beckham's one of the best on the world - if not the best.
"But he's not so hot on individual moves, nor so good a dribbler.
"Ronaldinho has other qualities which go far beyond having a good pop at goal," Denilson told Marca magazine on Wednesday.
Denilson predicts 'Ronnie' will be a smash hit at the Catalan club.
"He always had great quality, he can produce the killer pass and always plays for the team," said Denilson.
"Barcelona have gained far more by signing Ronaldinho than Real Madrid have in signing Beckham," he added, insisting that this season Barca would give the 'meringues' a run for their money in the league title race.
