Sundowns want local coach

Johannesburg - Memelodi Sundowns say that local is best and they will be
scouring the country to replace coach Angel Cappa.
Club President Patrice Motsepe said the announcement will be
made in the new year.
Cappa left this week after citing domestic and personal problems and the club
immediately roped in development coach Neil Tovey and former assistant Miguel
Gamondi as interim coaches.
Motsepe admitted they have been speaking to other coaches, but would not divulge
names except to say the coach who will be appointed will be a local.
Motsepe said: "We need someone who understands the style and culture of our
players, someone who recognises that our players are as talented as any others in
the world.
"We have to recognise that we have a lot of talented players and coaches and it is
about time that we started using them," he added.
The name of Gordon Igesund has been bandied about. But one coach, who has been
spotted at Chloorkop on numerous occasions, is Kenny Ndlazi, who
is not connected to a club at present.
