Liverpool - Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler could be joining David Beckham in Major League Soccer.
The 31-year-old former England striker has spoken to the New England Revolution about joining the club next season. Fowler's Liverpool contract ends in May.
"We've spoken, but as of yet there's nothing been settled," Revolution coach Steve Nicol told Britain's Press Association on Wednesday. "Whether he gets a contract at Liverpool or whether he moves on, he's dipping his foot in the water."
Beckham will join the Los Angeles Galaxy when his Real Madrid contract ends in May.
Fowler played at Liverpool from 1992-2001, before spending two seasons at Leeds and three seasons at Manchester City. He rejoined the Reds in January 2006.
He played 26 times for England, between 1996 and 2002, and scored seven goals.
