Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira became agitated on Monday when reporters asked him whether the South African Soccer Association (Safa) had paid him this month.

"This is the only country in which I have worked where there has been so much concern about my salary," Parreira said. "I have never experienced anything like it.

"The people here want to know everything about my salary. No one asks (Manchester United coach) Alex Ferguson whether he has been paid and how much he earns.

"I have no problems with my salary, nor with Safa. And I am not willing to discuss this with the media," an upset Parreira said.

He was speaking after the South African team's only training session for the practice match against Swaziland at Ellis Park on Tuesday night.

"One cannot do much with the players in one session. We kept things very simple," the coach said.

"What is important, is a good result and to gain international experience."

Parreira said some of the players who would be in action against Swaziland would not necessarily be considered for the important Africa Cup qualifying match against Chad at the end of the month.

The match against Swaziland is an important one for Parreira because he wants his team to play in as many international matches as possible.

South Africa have also arranged a friendly against Bolivia on March 28.

"I can't judge the skills of the players in training sessions. I do it in matches," Parreira added.

The squads for the match at Ellis Park are:

    South Africa

    Goalkeepers: Rowen Fernandez, Moeneeb Josephs.

Defenders: Jimmy Tau, George Mofokeng, Lucas Thwala, Innocent Mdledle, Ashraf Henrdicks, Tsepo Masilela, James Madidilani.

Midfield: Clifford Ngobeni, July Mahlangu, Bryce Moon, Scara Ngobese, Papi Zothwani, Lebo Mokoena, Siyabonga Nkosi, Bernard Barker. Strikers: Petros Mahlatsi, Thembinkosi Fanteni and Mabhuti Khanyesa.

Swaziland: Njabuliso Simelane, Nhanhla Gwebu, Vusi Mazibuko, Wandile Mazibuko, Mduduzi Sibiya, Absolom Dlamini, Manqoba Tsabedze, Mpendulo Kunene, Sipho Gumbe, Wonder Nhleko, Siza Dlamini, Salebona Jele, Mzwandile Mamba, Dennis Masina, John Mduli, Geina Mazibuko, Tony Tsabedze.

    Kick-off: 19:00.

    TV: SABC 1 at 21:00.
