03/07/2007 18:12 - (SA)
Johannesburg - Premier Soccer League (PSL) boss Irvin Khoza met with his counterpart at the SABC, Dali Mpofu, on Tuesday in a bid to resolve the league match broadcast rights issue.
SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago said the two were locked in a "preparatory meeting" at a Johannesburg hotel ahead of a meeting between delegations from both organisations to take place on Wednesday.
The meeting between the delegations was scheduled for Monday but was postponed to Tuesday and has again been postponed, to Wednesday.
PSL spokesperson Ntambi Ravele confirmed the postponement.
Last month, the PSL announced that SuperSport had been awarded a R1bn contract to broadcast PSL soccer matches for the next five years.
