Glasgow - Rangers and Barcelona remain
unbeaten after a goalless draw in their Champions League Group E
encounter on Tuesday.
The Spanish side dominated the opening half and went close
to scoring on two occasions. Argentine Lionel Messi had an
angled shot cleared off the line on 14 minutes by Rangers's
Spanish defender Carlos Cuellar.
Brazilian forward Ronaldinho struck the bar with a fierce
25-metre freekick after 23 minutes although keeper Allan
McGregor appeared to manage a touch on the ball.
French striker Thierry Henry miscued a header just a few
metres from goal in the second half while Rangers's best chance
came from French striker Daniel Cousin who blazed his shot
across goal 10 minutes from time. Barca and Rangers both have
seven points from three games.
