2010: Japan offers expertise

Johannesburg - Japan which co-hosted the 2002 World Cup has pledged to offer its "wealth" of experience to South Africa in the build-up to 2010.
Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Akira Amari arrived in the country on Wednesday with a proposal to help South Africa meet its requirements.
And a Japan Football Association, local government and regional soccer association officials who were involved in the 2002 tournament are expected to provide assistance.
They will advise on security measures, including ways to prevent hooligans from entering the country and the use of technology to prevent ticket forgery and stadium control.
Meanwhile, Japan;s Mitsubishi representative Masaki Miyaji has warned that negative media coverage could affect SA's 2010 preparations.
