Bafana, Portugal match is off

Johannesburg - The international friendly between Bafana Bafana and Portugal which was scheduled to take place on March 26 is officially off.
Bafana manager Sipho Nkumane said that Portugal has now opted to play against Switzerland on the same day. The Europeans are preparing for the Euro Championships that begin in June.
Nkumane, however, has given the assurance that Bafana Bafana will still be in action on March 26 against a country still to be announced.
"We are busy talking to a few other countries. I can't say who they are until we conclude our negotiations but the squad will definitely be in action on March 26," he adds.
