London - Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Quinton Fortune could be joining fellow countrymen Benni McCarthy and Aaron Mokoena at Blackburn Rovers.
Fortune has been training with the Ewood Park side and accompanied the team to the US during their break.
According to English tabloid The Mirror the former Manchester United player is now awaiting an answer from former teammate and now Rovers manager Mark Hughes, who could offer the Cape Town-born Fortune a short-term contract.
Fortune recently failed to secure a move to Sunderland, who are also managed by a former Red Devils teammate in Roy Keane.
