Former Bafana player dies

Johannesburg - The South African Football Players Union (Safpu) was devastated at the death of two former Amazulu FC players, it said on Wednesday.
Safpu spokesperson Elvis Sekgobela said the union was devastated at the death of Joe Mlaba and Japie Arries.
"Arries who was a midfielder died at the weekend after a long illness while Mlaba died of TB this week," said Sekgobela.
Arries had previously played for Bloemfontein Celtic while Mlaba had played for Bafana Bafana.
"We hereby pass our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the two former players," said the union.
