Maduka will not blame Zondo

Johannesburg - Bloemfontein Celtic captain John Maduka has refused to point a finger at former coach, Khabo Zondo following the team's dismal performance in recent Absa Premiership games.
Zondo was dismissed by Celtic this week after what the management termed "lack of good results" and poor performance in the league this season.
Speaking on Wednesday after a 1-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates at the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium, Maduka said the players should also shoulder blame of the team's poor performance.
"It is not only about the coach, but also the players. If the team is not performing well, what are we, as players, doing to save the situation?
"It is unfair to blame only the coach; we all have to share the blame."
Maduka also urges his teammates to pull up their socks ahead of the trip to Pretoria to face Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Stadium on Saturday.
"Celtic has a big following and we cannot let these people down. We cannot afford to lose again on Saturday."
After a number of school boy errors committed by goalkeeper Posnett Omony, which gifted Bucs victory on Wednesday, Celtic may be forced to recall goalkeeper coach Simon Gopane to do duty between the poles against the Brazilians this weekend.
