  • Johannesburg - Soccer agent Jean-Mark Eyong has confirmed that three top class European coaches Patrice Neveu, Henri Michel and Pierre Lechantre have all expressed their interest in joining Mamelodi Sundowns next season.

Eyong said that he met with the three coaches during his trip to France recently and sent their CV's to Sundowns boss Patrice Motsepe two weeks ago.

"Motsepe asked me to help him look for a new coach for Sundowns. I had submitted a list of coaches available to him earlier but he was not impressed with the names I gave him at that stage. Then I met with Neveu, Lechantre and Michel during my trip to France recently and all have expressed an interest in coaching in South Africa next season.

"I only arrived back in South Africa three days ago and will be meeting Motsepe sometime this week to discuss the coaches who have applied for the job."

Eyong has, however, dismissed reports that Neveu, Michel and Lechantre are asking for R500 000 monthly salaries from the Chloorkop-based team.

"These are top class coaches and obviously won't come cheap, but saying that they want R500 000 a month is not true."

Eyong is also involved with Cameroon goalkeeper Patrick Amour Tighyemb, who is currently on trial with Orlando Pirates.

"Patrick is a quality goalkeeper and is presently involved with Cameroon's Under-23 side at the Olympics Games. I will be meeting with Pirates this week to find out if they are interested in signing him."
