Johannesburg - AmaZulu have mathematically secured their Absa Premiership status for next season after defeating Bidvest Wits 1-0 in an Absa Premiership match played at Bidvest Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The visitors move to 34 points, 12 points clear from Jomo Cosmos and Black Leopards with three games remaining.
The goal that separated the two teams was converted by AmaZulu's Isaah in the beginning of the second half from a cross taken by Mpho Maleka.
In a bid for the equaliser Wits substituted Clive Moyo for David Radebe in the 66th minute. Within a minute Radebe nearly made his presence count after unleashing a powerful shot but was denied by AmaZulu goalkeeper Kalilio Kakonte.
