    London - Birmingham and Reading were relegated from the Premier League on Sunday after rivals Fulham beat Portsmouth 1-0 in their final match to seal their survival.

    Birmingham and Reading will be joined in the Championship next season by bottom side Derby, whose relegation from the top flight was confirmed several weeks ago.
