Durban - Newly promoted PSL outfit Maritzburg United, will announce their new coach on Tuesday next week.

The Pietermatizburg-based team have been criticised by many soccer fans for parting ways with Palmer.
"We know our supporters are not happy about Palmer's departure but there was nothing we could do to avoid the situation. We have to now forget about the past and focus on the future," said Kadodia.
He added: "On Tuesday we will announce the new coach and I hope the new coach will take our team to greater heights in the Premiership next season.
Coaches who are front-runners for the post are former Orlando Pirates coach Owen da Gama, former Mamelodi Sundowns mentor Gordon Igesund, Kenny Ndlazi formerly with First Division side Mpumalanga Black Aces, and Paul Dolezar formerly with Kaizer Chiefs and Sundowns.
United also confirmed the extension of two influential players contracts. striker Fadlu Davids has signed a two year deal and Ghanaian John Aruwa, signed a three year deal with the club.
