Pretoria - Bulls centre JP Nel, who was cited for a dangerous tackle in the Super 14 match against the Crusaders on Friday night, was found not guilty by a judicial committee in Pretoria on Monday.

The Bulls' young No 8 Dewald Potgieter, however, has been suspended for one week after being cited and will therefore miss the match against the Sharks at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

He was cited for a spear tackle that the referee deemed not worthy of more than a penalty and a warning during the match.

Potgieter has been impressive in the two matches when he has come on as a replacement and was pushing hard for inclusion in the starting line-up.
