Bloemfontein - Cheetahs coach Naka Drotské does not foresee any drastic changes to his team for their last four Super 14 matches of the rugby season.

Drotské and his coaching staff have been loyal to their players, who have performed generally well but won only one match, against the Reds, in this year's competition.

Drotské said here on Wednesday he might consider a few changes to the starting lineup for the match against the Hurricanes in Kimberley next week.

However, there won't be major changes after the 34-22 defeat against the Stormers last week.

"To make drastic changes now, means one has to start all over again. I have trust in the players and I feel the guys should learn from their mistakes," the former Springbok said.

The Cheetahs have made too many mistakes on defence this year. Some players did not always meet expectations but after the exodus of players at the end of last year, obvious replacements were not always available.

Young centre Robert Ebersohn and fullback Wilton Pietersen are among those who could be brought into the squad but will probably be given Currie Cup experience first.
