Cape Town - Highlanders coach Glenn Moore has made three changes to the side to play the Stormers in Saturday's Super 14 rugby clash at Newlands.

The changes to the side which were hammered 47-17 by the Bulls at Loftus last week has come about mainly as a result of injuries, the most serious of which was the one to the young flyhalf Daniel Bowden who was concussed and has subsequently returned home.

Blair Stewart has been flown in to join the squad for the rest of their South African tour. He will be on the bench on Saturday.

The Bay of Plenty playmaker, Mike Delany who has made a number of appearances off the bench this season, has been named at flyhalf.

Brett Mather returns at centre in place of Niva Ta'auso who has been dropped.

Lock Hayden Triggs comes in at the expense of Hoani MacDonald who has moved on to the reserves' bench.

Changes on the bench will see prop Keith Cameron replace Chris King, and Aaron Bancroft coming in to offer midfield cover.

The team: Paul Williams, Matt Saunders, Brett Mather, Johnny Leota, Fetu'u Vainikolo, Mike Delany, Jimmy Cowan, Steven Setephano, Alando Soakai, Craig Newby, Tom Donnelly, Hayden Triggs, Clint Newland, Jason Macdonald and Jamie Mackintosh. Reserves: David Hall, Keith Cameron, Hoani MacDonald, Tim Boys, Toby Morland, Blair Stewart and Aaron Bancroft.
