Brisbane - The Waratahs are likely to be without Wallabies prop Matt Dunning for their Super 14 clash with the Stormers in Cape Town on Saturday.

Dunning suffered a calf muscle injury during the Waratahs' loss to the Bulls last weekend and has had ascan to determine the extent of the injury.

"It has been confirmed he has got a strain and he's unlikely to be fit this weekend," a Waratahs representative said from Cape Town.

The Waratahs are currently second in the standings but could find themselves out of the top four if they lose to the fourth-placed Stormers.
