Tired Henin to be fined
10/05/2008 12:02 - (SA)
Rome - Justine Henin has withdrawn from next week's Rome Masters with fatigue and will be fined $20 000.
Tournament officials said the Belgian, who lost a 2002 final to Serena Williams in her only previous appearance at the Foro Italico, would be replaced in the draw by Argentine Gisela Dulko.
Henin lost badly this week in the Berlin second round after last playing in a Miami quarter-final more than a month ago.
The four-time French Open champion looks like heading to Roland Garrros with just two clay matches this spring.
Henin, who won ten titles in 2007, has lifted Sydney and Antwerp this season after playing just six events. - Sapa-dpa
