Sydney - Australian tennis star Lleyton Hewitt said on Monday that he and his wife are expecting their second child, giving him a boost ahead of his Wimbledon showdown with Roger Federer.
Hewitt and his 24-year-old wife Bec, a former star on the long-running soap opera 'Home and Away', told Australia's OK! Magazine that the child was due in January.
"Yeah, it's fantastic," Lleyton Hewitt said from London.
The couple said their two-year-old daughter Mia understands "something's happening" and was excited about it.
"She'll be just over three when the baby arrives and we think she'll be a good little helper," Bec Hewitt said.
The 2002 Wimbledon champion, currently ranked 27th in the world, faces top seed and reigning title-holder Federer in the fourth round on Monday.
