New York - Hillary Clinton's latest political hurdle is not her stance on the Iraq war but her off-kilter singing voice.
Video of the newly minted presidential contender singing - off-key - along with the national anthem have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times on YouTube, the New York Times reports, underscoring the risks to politicians from open technologies like YouTube.
The site, owned by search giant Google, took online video mainstream last year with an open format and easy-to-upload site.
Since YouTube started in February 2005, the company has blossomed - showing more than 100 million video clips per day.
It's worldwide audience was 72.1 million by August 2006, up 2.8 million from a year earlier, according to comScore Media Metrix.
