Turkish boy, 5, tests H5N1+

Van - Turkish health officials on Sunday announced a 5-year-old boy had tested positive for the deadly bird flu strain, increasing the number of infected people in Turkey to 19.
The boy's sister, who died earlier on Sunday, tested negative for the H5N1 strain in preliminary tests, the health ministry announced. Muhammet Ozcan, 5, tested positive and is in a serious condition in hospital while his 12-year-old sister, Fatma, who died on Sunday, tested negative according to the initial tests, the ministry announced.
