Mass grave found in Iraq

As-Saliyah - British forces have discovered a mass grave in southern Iraq after being led there by Iraqis, military officials said on Thursday at the war headquarters at As-Saliyah, Qatar.
"There are initial reports that some shallow graves were identified to UK forces by some Iraqis," said Brigadier-General Vincent Brooks, adding that Iraqis led the soldiers to the sites.
"We found one gravesite with two graves in it on Tuesday, in Al-Zubayr, southwest of Basra, and then we found four more gravesites on Wednesday," said British Squadron Leader Simon Scott
"I don't know how many actual graves there are. They have been sealed off and they are being looked at, and the bodies will be exhumed," he said, adding that a forensic scientist was at the site.
The military spokesperson said it was not immediately clear how many bodies there were and whose they were.
