400th US soldier dies Four more Americans killed

Baghdad - Elections will be held in Iraq before the end of 2005, Jalal Talabani, who currently chairs the US-backed interim Iraqi Governing Council, told a news conference here on Saturday.

"There will be elections for a government which will draft a constitution before the end of 2005," said Talabani, adding that "a provisional government will be formed between now and 2004."
