Baghdad - A suicide car bomb attack in western Baghdad on Wednesday left the bomber and two other people dead, police said.
"Two people, apparently a man and a woman, were killed as well as the bomber who was in a vehicle, while a person who was filming the explosion was arrested," said a police officer at the scene in the Kharkh district of the capital.
"They could be foreigners," said the policeman.
He said a vehicle carrying foreigners was hit in the attack, as well as two other civilian cars.
The attack took place at around 11:20 near the Qadisiyah bridge on the road to Baghdad airport.
There was no immediate information from the US military or the Iraqi interior ministry on the circumstances of the attack.
