  • London - The mother of a man missing since Thursday's attacks in London has pleaded with the terrorists to change their tactics, Sky News reports.

Anthony Fatayi-Williams, 26, was last seen at Camden Town tube station on his way to work in Old Street.

Speaking near the scene of the bus blast in Tavistock Square, his mother Marie said peace cannot be found through terrorism.

"We know of New York, of Madrid and of London - there has been widespread slaughter of innocent people," she said.

"There have been streams of tears and rivers of innocent blood. That is not the cause of God or Allah. God only gives life."

Fatayi-Williams, who flew in from Nigeria to get news of her son, said she would fight to protect her son's values and memory.

"How many tears shall we cry? How many mothers' hearts shall be maimed?

"My heart is maimed at this moment. I pray I will see my son, Anthony."

The Amec worker had been planning to travel to King's Cross, but was forced to change his route amid the chaos caused by the first three explosions.

He is believed to have got on the number 30 bus and may be one of the three victims of that blast yet to be identified.
