Saddam alive and on the run

Washington - Deposed Iraqi President Saddam is still alive and on the run, but on the verge of being apprehended, Iraqi opposition leader Ahmad Chalabi said on Sunday.
"Saddam is still alive," Chalabi told Fox News in an interview early on Sunday, adding that "coalition forces will be able to catch them pretty soon."
"We have a pretty good idea of how they are moving and where they were, and we've tried to again focus on how we can know where they will be, so that they can be apprehended, Saddam and his sons, Qusay and Uday," Chalabi told the news network.
Chalabi is the leader of the US-backed Iraqi National Congress (INC), an organization that opposed Saddam Hussein's ousted regime.
He said the INC has been tracking the movements of the deposed president and his sons.
"We know where they've been. We know their movements and we want to acquire better information so that we can know where they will be at some time in the future so that we can catch them."
The INC said last week that it had given the United States information that led to the capture of Saddam's deputy Tareq Aziz and another wanted Iraqi official.
