Beijing - Fifteen people were killed after shelving collapsed on Wednesday at a cold storage in central China, state media said.
The ten-metre high shelves at Chenzhai Cold Storage in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province, contained "flower stalk of garlic", Xinhua news agency said.
More than 30 people were buried after the accident on Wednesday morning.
By early on Thursday, 15 bodies had been recovered, Xinhua said. Another 19 people were pulled out alive and taken to hospitals, it said.
Police have detained the storage facility's owner, identified only by the surname Zhang, the the Beijing Times and other newspapers reported.
