Ankara - Turkey is sending a plane to Kyrgyzstan Friday to evacuate its nationals from the Central Asian nation where the opposition has toppled the regime of president Askar Akayev, Anatolia news agency reported.
The agency said the Turkish Airlines plane may be forced to land at another airport than the one in the capital Bishkek for security reasons.
Turkish diplomats as well as the former ambassador to Kyrgyzstan will be on board the plane, it added.
According to the foreign ministry there are some 200 Turkish nationals in Kyrgyzstan, most of them students.
