Sharon doing well
20/12/2005 08:36 - (SA)
Jerusalem - Prime Minister Ariel Sharon slept well overnight and will be released from hospital on Tuesday after suffering a mild stroke, Jerusalem's Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital said in a statement.
Sharon will be examined by his doctors early on Tuesday and is expected to be released in the afternoon, the statement said.
His doctors said on Monday the 77-year-old Israeli leader was expected to make a full recovery.
Doctors said Sharon suffered a minor stroke on Sunday when a small blood clot, which quickly broke up, briefly blocked a blood vessel feeding his brain.
