New York - A man who remained in his seat after his subway train pulled into the last stop in Coney Island, New York, on Thursday was dead, according to the city's police.
The man, in his 50s, was found sitting in the front car of a train early on Thursday morning when the train pulled into its last stop of the route, the Surf and Stillwell avenues station.
Police said the man did not appear to have any injuries, and they did not know how long he had been dead before officers found him.
In January, a postal worker was found dead on a subway car at the start of the city's morning rush hour.
Police said his body had been riding the train for about six hours.
