Man's bite as good as his dog's

Beijing - A Beijing man was awarded about R6 700 in compensation on Friday, after he was bitten by a dog - and then by the dog's owner.
According to the Chinese official Xinhua news agency, the victim, surnamed Huo, was bitten on the left leg by the dog.
He then became embroiled in an argument with the dog's owner.
During the fight that followed the dog's owner, surnamed Liu, bit Huo's left cheek leaving a 2cm gash, a municipal court in Beijing heard.
A municipal court in Beijing ordered Liu to pay 7 500 yuan in compensation for the November 2004 incident.
