Woman, 69, kills sister, 80

Vienna - A 69-year old woman confessed to killing her 80- year old sister with an axe in a bloody argument over food, Austrian media reported on Thursday.
The two, who lived together in a village near the Tyrolean city of Innsbruck, got into the argument already on January 12, when the younger repeatedly hit the elder over the head, the reports said.
She then continued to live next to her sister's body for ten days until another sister, who came for a visit, discovered the body on the kitchen floor.
Investigators became suspicious of the 69-year-old's story that she had been abroad and had returned to find her dead sister's body, and believed she had died of a stroke.
She woman eventually confessed the murder and was placed under arrest, police said. - Sapa-dpa
