PM, mom - and cat - threatened

Warsaw - An anonymous letter containing three bullets has been sent to Polish Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski, threatening "you, your mother and the cat", reported the Gazeta Wyborcza daily on Wednesday.
Officials from the office for the protection of the government said: "The incident was taken very seriously.
"Threatening letters are common place, but this time, the writer appears to be in possession of ammunition."
The letter was received at Kaczynski's office last week.
Security has been stepped up for Jadwiga Kaczynska, mother of the Polish prime minister and his identical twin Lech, who is Poland's president, the paper said.
Jaroslaw Kaczynski, a 57-year-old bachelor, lives with his mother and at least one cat in Warsaw.
