Briton hits €52.6m jackpot

Paris - A Briton won on Friday the €52.6m EuroMillions lottery jackpot, the ninth-largest payout ever won by a single person, the lottery operator said.
The jackpot is the largest ever won by a Briton since the nine-country lottery began in 2004.
The largest EuroMillions payout so far was to Irish mother-of-six Dolores McNamara, who pocketed a cool €115 436 126 in July 2005.
The largest jackpot of €183.6m in February 2006 was split between three winners who had guessed the correct five numbers.
