    Shanghai - A fire on a bus that started from a passenger's bags killed 27 people and injured 11 in south-west China, local media reported on Wednesday.

    The surviving passengers from Tuesday's accident were taken to hospital for treatment, reported the Shanghai Daily.

    The bus was travelling to downtown Chongqing when a fire broke out behind the driver's seat. The driver survived, but the married couple sitting in the seats died.

    The exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined. - Sapa-dpa
