Islamabad - At least 16 people were killed on Thursday when an explosion ripped through a security forces vehicle in troubled northwestern Pakistan, police said.
"At least 16 are dead and around 30 injured in the blast," a senior security official told AFP.
Police earlier said 10 people were killed when the blast hit a truck carrying paramilitary soldiers outside Mingora, the main city in the scenic Swat valley in North West Frontier Province.
