Helsinki - A pupil who killed eight people in a school shooting in southern Finland on Wednesday and turned
the gun on himself later died in hospital, the head of the
medical response team said.
Dr Eero Hirvensalo said: "I can confirm he died of brain injury. The number of fatalities is now at nine."
He said the toll would not rise further as the other injuries
were minor.
