Naudero - The son of slain Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto vowed on Sunday to use democracy to avenge the brutal death of his mother.

"My mother always said that democracy is the best revenge," Bhutto's 19-year-old son Bilawal said.

Bilawal, and Benazir's husband, Asif Ali Zardari, will now lead the Pakistan People's Party. The party announced that it would take part in the national elections, set for January 08, Zardari said.

Her husband also called on former premier Nawaz Sharif to reverse his decision to boycott the polls, which Sharif had announced in the wake of Bhutto's death on Thursday.
