Bogota - The number two leader of Colombia's FARC rebels, Raul Reyes, has been killed by the country's army, radio Caracol said on Saturday quoting officials.

It said Reyes was killed during an air attack on the southern town of Tetey - close to the border with Ecuador - which was launched after security agencies intercepted a satellite communication.

At least 10 other fighters were also killed.
