Ramallah - A Palestinian negotiator says the Israeli and Palestinian leaders are planning to meet next week in Jerusalem.

Negotiator Saeb Erekat says the meeting between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is set for Monday. Abbas visited Washington last week and has complained that months of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks have yielded no progress.

The Abbas-Olmert talks would follow a visit by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The secretary is trying to nudge the two sides forward.
