Fritzl 'loves only himself'

Berlin - Natascha Kampusch, the Austrian girl kept captive in a cellar for eight years, says Amstetten incest father Joseph Fritzl is a "liar" for saying he loves his family.
"What he is now saying to the media makes me angry. This man is a huge egotist," she said in comments published on Thursday.
"He doesn't care about other people. He must have known that he was doing wrong," Kampusch told German magazine Bunte in an interview to be published in full later this week.
"It is also outrageous that he now claims he loves his wife and his daughter! He is lying! Josef Fritzl only loves himself. What he has done is sick," said 20 year-old Kampusch.
"In my case you wonder how a total stranger can possible take a child away from its parents and to put a whole family through such severe trauma. "But this Fritzl did that to his own child, to his own family! That is even more unbelievable," she added.
Fritzl, 73, admitted on April 28 having kept his daughter Elisabeth prisoner in a high-tech underground dungeon for 24 years in the Austrian town of Amstetten and fathering seven children with her, according to police. He is currently in custody.
Kampusch was kidnapped aged 10 and kept prisoner by Wolfgang Priklopil until her escape in August 2006. Priklopil killed himself the same day. She has donated €25 000 to Elizabeth Fritzl, now 42, and her children and told Bunte she would like to meet and help them.
