Bomb explodes in S Ossetia

Moscow - South Ossetia's government says a car bomb exploded at the Russian military's headquarters in the separatist region, killing six people and injuring four.
Friday's blast comes amid persistent tension following Russia's war with Georgia over South Ossetia.
The separatist region's press department says a car that had been confiscated in an ethnic Georgian village after weapons were found in it exploded near a building where leaders of the Russian peacekeeping force were located. Interfax news agency reports the dead are members of the force.
The statement says the blast damaged the headquarters and broke windows of nearby buildings in Tskhinvali.
