Human flesh in chef's kitchen
09/10/2008 00:34 - (SA)
London - A forensic expert has described finding pieces of human flesh in the kitchen of the home of a British chef accused of murder.
Valerie Tomlinson says she examined Anthony Morley's house shortly after the killing of Morley's love interest Damian Oldfield in the northern English city of Leeds on the night of April 23.
Tomlinson told a court on Wednesday that she found slices of partially fried human flesh on a cutting board. She says she found olive oil, seeds and a bundle of fresh herbs nearby.
She says a piece of flesh that appeared to have been chewed was found in a trash bag.
Prosecutors accuse Morley of murdering Oldfield. Morley has denied murder and told police when he was arrested that he was the victim of an attempted rape.
