Carter sees Hillary pulling out

London - Former United States president Jimmy Carter said on Sunday he expected Democratic superdelegates to make their choice for presidential nominee in June and Hillary Clinton would then have to pull out of the race.
Carter said in an interview with Sky News in Britain that he did not believe Clinton was helping the Democrats' cause by remaining in the race.
"I think not. But, of course, she has the perfect right to do so," he told the broadcaster from a literary festival.
"I'm a superdelegate... I think a lot of the superdelegates will make a decision, announced quite rapidly, after the final primary on June 3.
"I have not yet announced publicly, but I think at that point it will be time for her to give it up," said Carter, who was US president from 1977 to 1981.
Barack Obama is seen as front-runner in the race to be the Democratic nominee for the White House, but Clinton has refused to quit until the last votes are cast.
The Democratic nominee is likely to be decided by the party's nearly 800 superdelegates.
Critics of Clinton have accused her of undermining the Democrats' cause by prolonging her battle with Obama and handing the advantage to Republican White House hopeful John McCain.
