    Hadji Fatima mixes it up

FORGET Oprah and don't even mention Tyra Banks. The newly transformed Obz Café Theatre is proud to bring you the latest talk-show sensation ? Hadji Fatima Abrahamse, self-proclaimed ambassador of Manenberg.

Join the streetwise Hadji in this "two-hander talk show" called Let's Mix It.

Let's Mix It follows Hadji as she solves global problems with her own brand of advice and her laugh-a-minute cutting edge daytime talk-show, brought to you from comfort of her own lounge and featuring a host of quirky guests.

Director Rafiek Mammon, well-known and trusted Cape Town arts editor and previous Fleur Du Cap judge, gives insight and brings the cast to life with a brand of humour that can only come from the Flats.

Let's Mix It is written by and stars the hilarious Abduraghmaan Adams as Hadji Fatima, a character he first portrayed in Angels Everywhere (which he also co-wrote), and Gary Naidoo of Ghoema fame, who portrays multiple characters in this unique roller coaster ride.

The show runs from Monday, 26 February to Saturday, 17 March at Obz Café Theatre, Main Road, Observatory at 20:30 nightly. Tickets cost R130 inclusive of a three-course meal and coffee, and can be booked by phoning 082 041 0465 or Obz Café Theatre on (021) 448-0649.
